Barcode Decals

BAI offers barcode vehicle decals in 56 different color combinations, which is useful for color matching or color-coding parking areas. Our standard vehicle decals measure 3.7" tall and 2.5" wide and will read out to 6 feet from the reader moving at up to 25 mph.

Warranted for 2 years, we expect a useful life of about 5 years from our decals. They should be applied to the outside of the vehicle window glass.

Benefits of Barcode Decals

Once properly attached to the vehicle window, decals are hard to lose without misplacing the vehicle and not easy to remove intact. To loan the decal to friends or relatives you must loan the entire vehicle. While the BAI decal can be photocopied, the BAI readers will not read photocopies of barcodes. Any photocopies or digital photos of decals will be ignored, making it difficult to duplicate the decal.

A common concern is what to do if a vehicle is sold while the decal is still attached. Each decal has an individual serial number for identification, so it is easy to deny access to vehicles that are no longer valid.

Custom decal design service is available, making it easy to buy decals with special recognition features such as a community or company name or logo.
